মেডি ভয়েস অনেক বাঁধা-বিপত্তি পেরিয়েও আমাদের দেশ বিভিন্ন দিকে অনেকখানি এগিয়েছি। অর্থনৈতিকভাবেও এগিয়েছি কিছুটা। কিন্তু সেই অর্থে আমাদের অবস্থা স্থবির রয়েছে বিজ্ঞান চর্চায়। সেই অর্থে কোন গবেষণাগার নেই, নেই উপযুক্ত তহবিল এবং বিজ্ঞান চর্চার পরিবেশ। অনেকগুলো ছোট ছোট প্রতিষ্ঠান চেষ্টা করছে, কিন্তু সেটি সমগ্র দেশের বিবেচনায় অপ্রতুল। নানা নিয়মের বেড়াজালে দেশের বাইরের সঙ্গে সমন্বিতভাবে করে কাজ করাও কষ্টসাধ্য। এই সবকিছুর প্রতিফলন ঘটেছে আমাদের দেশীয় জার্নাল বা গবেষণাপত্রে। শুধু বায়োমেডিকেল সায়েন্সে প্রায় ১৫০টির মতো জার্নাল রয়েছে দেশে, কিন্তু মাত্র একটি জার্নাল পাবমেড ইনডেক্সভুক্ত। সেই সবেধন নীলমণি জার্নালটিরও যা অবস্থা তা বলাই বাহুল্য। আধুনিক সাবমিশন সিস্টেম নেই; নেই স্বচ্ছ পিয়ার রিভিও সিস্টেম। আপনি
